    1. Rodion, those are not miniatures Perry. They are figures handcrafted in the Argentine Republic. If you are interested in making war of Paraguay can see page https://www.facebook.com/kingscarbine?fref=jewel Best regards

    3. Thank you very much for your kind words. The figures are made in a small workshop miniatures of Buenos Aires and do not think they can ship overseas, but I'll phone the shop to consult and will answer here when I have an answer. They have a site Facebook and maybe you can communicate with them: https://www.facebook.com/santelmo.toys?fref=pb&hc_location=friends_tab&pnref=friends.all

    4. What size are these miniatures? Are they 25 or 28 mm? And what material they made from - plastic or pewter?

    7. Regarding the War of Paraguay, although it has some errors, there is an Osprey published last year. In Spanish, it is undoubtedly the best publication "Cuerpos militares en la historia argentina" Prof. Julio Luqui Lagleyze ISBN950-43-6637-6, has few plates and in black and white, but the descriptions are the most documented and reliable. For wars of independence specifically Prf.Luqui-Lagleyze and Mr.Pedrazzoli, are publishing a series of small books, very well documented and with color plates, you can find information on: http://regimientosdeamerica.com/index.php /is/
      Cordial greetings

    9. I have not read the second book you referred, I've only seen the cover. We should see what are the sources cited. With respect to the other book I must say that that its author,Terry Hooker, is perhaps the most important researcher and communicator in the English language on Iberoamerican uniforms. Hooker's book was one of the main sources for modeling the Paraguay War figures who appear here. Currently, in the Argentine Republic, the most prestigious scholars who publish books is Luqui Lagleize, although there are other researchers of their level or even higher as Prof. Guillermo Palombo y Jorge Héctor Fernández Rivas.
